Scout Sunday is a day where we celebrate the founding of the Boy Scouts of America. We celebrate this occasion with our Charter Organization, The Zelienople English Lutheran Church, who provides the resources necessary for Pack 457’s existence. They have chartered our Pack and the Scouts BSA Troop since 1940. This is a day each year to say thank you and give back to them. Scout Sunday is not about your religious faith. Scouts do not need to be Lutheran to attend this service.
What We Did
Our members joined with Scouts from Troop 457 to participate in the 9:45 AM Church service. We will processed in and sat upfront to show our support for our Charter Organization.
Following the service, Troop 457 hosted a pancake breakfast in the basement of the church.
Potential Advancement
This meeting isn’t about earning Advancement. It’s about showing our Duty to God and giving back to our Charter Organization.
